Post Summary: Trinity College Dublin actively uses its social media and digital platforms to communicate and engage with its full range of stakeholders including students, staff, potential students, researchers, parents, teachers, alumni, political leaders, donors, funding agencies and employers, nationally and internationally.
The Digital Communications Officer will lead on the creation and delivery of high-quality engaging content across Trinity's social media and digital channels, with a particular focus on both the College Life and Thought Leadership pillars.
They will support the continued development of College Life content, capturing the lived experience of students and staff reflecting the richness of life at Trinity.
This position will also have a central role in shaping the new Thought Leadership strand—identifying emerging topics, amplifying academic expertise, and enhancing Trinity's position as a thought leader and trusted voice in national and global conversations.
The Digital Communications Officer will employ digital storytelling to foster engagement, build community, and enhance Trinity's reputation as a vibrant place to study, work, and visit.
Post status: Permanent Contract Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€46,874 - €58,667 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
