We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Homecare Scheduling Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day scheduling of care visits, ensuring our clients receive timely, consistent, and high-quality care.
This is a key operational role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience using CarePlanner (or similar scheduling software). Weekend work may be required on a rota or as needed to maintain service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and maintain rotas for all homecare staff using CarePlanner.
* Ensure all client visits are scheduled promptly and in accordance with care plans.
* Manage short-notice changes, sickness cover, and last-minute adjustments efficiently.
* Communicate clearly with care workers, clients, and families to resolve scheduling issues.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CarePlanner.
* Collaborate with the Registered Manager and care team to support smooth operations.
* Participate in the weekend or on-call rota where required.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in homecare scheduling is essential.
* Proficient in using CarePlanner or other care management software.
* Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Clear and confident communication skills (verbal and written).
* Calm under pressure, solution-focused, and able to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed.
