This role will include month end financial close (including journal postings) and completing finance reconciliations and analysis. The role is a key part of the SSC Financial Reporting team which will also help with providing resilience within the wider daa finance team and working on ad hoc finance projects as required.
* Management and financial accounting analysis and control in support of the daa international finance function.
* Co-ordination of month end financial close with various SSC and daa finance stakeholders including review of financial postings.
* Ensure accuracy of monthly accounts for daa's business units together with analysis against budget/latest expected.
* Preparation, analysis and posting of journals at month end and support of business unit's budgets and latest expected forecasts.
* Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations at month end with proactive follow up of reconciling items.
* Preparation of month end journals in Oracle EBS to ensure accurate and timely month end close position for Group Finance review.
* Calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring that all items are accurately captured and accounted for.
* Support Quality Management system including active participation in team meetings and updating Standard Operating procedures in line with ISO and daa reporting requirements.
