Role Purpose
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Innalabs Sales Activity in their territory to company quarterly and annual revenue goals. This involves direct involvement with a small number of key customers, and management of a number of Reps and Distributors in their territory. The Regional Sales Manager must understand the overall business of the clients in their territory, and how to assist the Rep and Distributor team in best positioning Innalabs products.
Key responsibilities of the role
Lead Generation
* Hands‑on generation of new leads and opportunities. Continual search for new prospects and markets.
* Direct sales engagement for selected key customers within your assigned territory
* Owner of all sales activity to those selected key customers
* Responsibility for finding and developing new business opportunities in those key customers
* Factory owner of resolution of all issues relating to the selected key customers.
Sales Channel / Territory Management
* Manage Reps and Distributors to generate new business prospects and leads on a continual basis
* Manage Reps and Distributors to have country/territory plans in place
* Obtain weekly sales forecasts from each Rep/Disti in your territory, and roll those up to a management level pipeline projection for the current month, quarter and year.
* Provide training and coaching in the use and application of processes to Reps and Distributors
* Conduct periodic reviews of business including sales call activity, lead follow up, account reviews, prospecting and performance for each individual sales rep or distributor.
* Provide day‑to‑day guidance for sales reps in matters of problem resolution, sales strategies, competitive analysis and pricing and bids/RFPs/RFQs
* Factory liaison for your assigned reps, to assist resolving issues relating to those reps.
* Responsible for developing the strategic sales plan for assigned territories, working closely with the VP Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment between the plans & initiatives and company goals.
* Collect and communicate marketing requirements and competitive data, including pricing, feature needs and value proposition strategies to Innalabs Engineering Team and VP Sales and Marketing.
* Meet booking goals by helping to set sales successful strategies and managing the execution of both direct sales and sales through Reps and Distributors
Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Electronic/Electrical Engineering)
* A minimum of 3 years’ plus of International / EMEA sales management experience preferably in the Electronics industry.
* Fluent English is necessary. Ability to speak additional languages is a bonus.
The Regional Sales Manager role requires experience of selling technical products to various stakeholders within technological companies. Experience of dealing with the aerospace industry would be a bonus. Above all, the Regional Sales Manager must be resourceful and driven to succeed and possess the following attributes:
* Self‑motivation, self‑management and professionalism in addition to advanced organizational negotiation, problem solving and team building skills are necessary.
* Be able to understand and articulate the key value propositions of the Innalabs product portfolio, and communicate this effectively to customers.
* Be experienced in using sales processes, and comfortable with using the Innalabs Process for pipeline management.
* Ability to travel 50% of the time within assigned territory.
* Experience and background in tiered channel/distribution sales model is required.

The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Qualifications
