We are currently recruiting for the position of Delivery Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our delivery team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Load/unloading of van in preparation for deliveries.
* Attention to detail and diligent when handling furniture both when loading/unloading and when delivering into customers' homes.
* Have the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Be customer focused and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
* Have excellent time management & communicate effectively with customers & other staff members.
* Ability to assemble furniture in customers' homes when required.
* Working in a customer-focused, fast paced environment to enhance customers shopping experience.
* Picking & packing of customer orders.
* Other ad-hoc duties which may be required
Requirements:
* Full clean driver's license – B License
* Minimum driving age of 25 to comply with regulations
* IT Skills desirable
* Ability to and comfortable with heavy manual labour as role involves lifting and moving of furniture and carpets for extended periods of time as necessitated by work assignments.
