Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of automation systems, focusing on integrating machine vision and AI technologies into industrial applications.
Work closely with both software and mechanical engineering teams to integrate machine vision systems with automation hardware, ensuring optimal functionality.
Contribute to the development of AI algorithms and machine vision systems for tasks such as object detection, quality control, and real‑time decision‑making.
Build and test prototypes of automation systems, including both mechanical and software components, to ensure system reliability and performance in real‑world conditions.
Troubleshoot and refine automation systems, incorporating feedback and testing results to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Assist in the deployment of automation systems at client sites and provide ongoing support and system optimisation based on operational feedback.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automation, AI, and machine vision technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and explore new solutions.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
Understanding of automation systems and industrial applications.
Familiarity with machine vision and AI technologies, such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, is a plus.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Basic knowledge of mechanical design and prototyping tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is desirable.
Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
A passion for learning and innovation in the field of automation and AI.
Experience with industrial automation protocols.
