Job Title: Food and Bar Manager
Reporting To: General Manager
The Address Collective is seeking an experienced Food & Bar Manager in Cork City. You will work closely with the General Manager / Deputy General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all Food & Bar outlets and manage the team members and standards across your departments.
Responsible for: Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all Food & Bar Outlets while maintaining standards of food, beverage, and service specifications.
Job Description
1. Ensure the smooth and efficient management of all Food & Bar outlets.
2. Ensure the Food & Bar team delivers the highest standards of luxury and quality to guests consistently.
3. Communicate the Hotel's Vision to the team.
4. Manage reservations for Food & Bar outlets and liaise with relevant departments regarding special requests.
5. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the service areas (front & back of house).
6. Attend meetings as required.
7. Ensure management presence during peak service times.
8. Assist Food & Bar outlets when needed.
9. Act on guest feedback promptly, informing relevant personnel and taking necessary actions to prevent re-occurrences.
10. Maintain flexibility in work schedules to ensure uninterrupted service and support other hotel areas, including Duty Manager shifts.
11. Create a market-leading environment through product, people, and profit initiatives.
12. Assist in recruiting and selecting F&B team members.
13. Manage the timekeeping system for relevant departments.
14. Identify and develop key team members and plan for succession in collaboration with HR.
15. Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and train team members accordingly.
16. Achieve departmental sales targets aligned with the hotel budget.
17. Maintain beverage costs within budgeted targets.
18. Manage payroll in line with forecasted and budgeted targets.
