The individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds, and for reviewing transaction and valuation information. Responsibilities include:Primary contact to clients for daily operations, issue discussion, and requestsReview of Net Asset Value calculation and associated reportingCoordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audits, and statutory reportingMaintain understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and income/expense allocationsKeep abreast of current accounting principles and develop solutions for issuesLiaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely deliverablesParticipate in onboarding new fundsResolve client issues/queries promptly to maintain high satisfactionIdentify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencyManage work allocation and team utilization, ensuring cross-training and coverageParticipate in company and client initiatives beyond normal responsibilitiesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsUniversity degree in Finance/Accounting; qualified accountant or relevant qualification preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, audit, or fund administration in private credit or private equity, with staff management experienceDeep understanding of the fund industry; knowledge of private credit or loan products is a plusStrong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Excel; openness to new technologiesKnowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAPExperience with accounting software such as Investran is advantageousAdditional InformationExperience something brilliantly different with MUFG Investor Services.
