Design Manager Role Overview
This is a key leadership position in our project team, responsible for the overall design direction and delivery of construction projects.
Duties:
1. Manage relationships with external consultants and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of design information.
2. Chair meetings to coordinate the exchange of design data between stakeholders. Monitor progress towards milestones set during these sessions.
3. Liaise closely with colleagues across different disciplines - architecture,
structural engineering & building services engineering – working together as part
of an integrated team effort focusing primarily upon delivering quality service outputs while ensuring compliance standards.
4. Prioritize tasks effectively so deadlines are met efficiently when collaborating amongst multiple teams simultaneously managing resources proactively without compromising results],
