As aProcess Engineer 2within our Kitting manufacturing area, you will use sound and proven engineering principles in the implementation, characterization, improvement, and qualification/validation of manufacturing processes for replicate manufacturing equipment used in the scale-up of new or existing products.Where You Come InOwnership of OEE and Yield: Monitor, analyse, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and process yield across a highly automated manufacturing environmentProcess & Equipment Qualifications: Support equipment and process qualifications, including protocol development, execution, and documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ).Apply structured problem-solving techniques to root cause analysis and to identify process risks, assess impact, and implement mitigation plans.As the line engineer, identify and resolve mechanical, software and performance issues.You will perform statistically robust and industry standard analysis of data, and present findings to technical teamsWork with suppliers to ensure equipment, materials, and components meet product specifications and performance requirements.Collaborate across Dexcom manufacturing sites with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with FDA design controls and documentation standards.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and business objectivesWhat Makes You SuccessfulTypically requires an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation/Mechatronics or equivalent with 2 -5 years related experience.Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment with highly automated production linesPrevious experience in FAT/SAT along with IQ/OQ/PQExcellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interaction skillsKnowledge of high volume packaging equipment, vision systems, or labelling systems an advantageWhat You'll GetA front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
