The Role
Our client’s Indirect Tax (VAT) team will provide the opportunity to work with clients from various industries as part of a global network of specialists with backgrounds in tax, legal, technology, and commerce. This role is both technically demanding and creative, requiring close collaboration with client businesses.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and sustain an effective team as a senior manager.
2. Manage and ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
3. Mentor, coach, and supervise staff to support their development.
4. Contribute to training initiatives and staff retention.
5. Strategically manage team operations and junior staff assignments.
6. Identify and convert business opportunities by nurturing client relationships.
Skills and Attributes
1. 7+ years’ experience in VAT.
2. Professional background in practice, industry, or a tax authority.
3. Proven ability to build client relationships and a commercial mindset.
4. Strong VAT technical knowledge and practical experience.
5. Collaborative team player with effective interpersonal skills.
6. Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder management.
7. Track record of managing complex consulting projects and delivering excellent client service.
