Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IntegrationsEngineer
to manage and deliver third-party integrations for payment applications in the POS terminal space. This role involves defining integration strategies, leading technical design and implementation, and ensuring compliance with payment industry standards. You will work closely with vendors, product teams, and QA to deliver secure, seamless integrations that enhance client experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Define andmaintainthe integration roadmap for third-party solutions within the payment terminal ecosystem.Own end-to-end integration lifecycle for third-party solutions.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams toidentifyintegration opportunities that enhance functionality and client experience.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (EMV, PCI DSS) and regulatory requirements during integration planning.
* Lead technical design, API/SDK integration, and certification processes.
* Drive quality, security, and regulatory compliance for all integrations.
* Identifyopportunities tooptimizeintegration processes and reduce time-to-market.
* Stay updated on emerging technologies, payment trends, and terminal innovations.
* Negotiate timelines, deliverables, and SLAs with external partners.
* Manage end-to-end integration lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, certification, and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 5-8+ years of experience in payment systems, POS terminals, or payment application development.
* Strong experience in designing and implementing API Gateway solutions.
* Proficiencyin creatingOpenAPIspecificationsand documentation for use with tools likeSwaggeror similar frameworks.
* Hands-on experience in developing RESTful orGraphQLAPIs.
* Familiarity with best practices for API security, scalability, and performance optimization.
* Programming skills - Working knowledge ofJavafor backend API development and integration
