Salary: €60,000 - €75,000
ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading civil engineering consultancy with a rapidly expanding portfolio, for a role in their Cork office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the management, design, and delivery of projects within a growing multidisciplinary team, ensuring high technical standards and effective project execution.
This is a strategic leadership role, reporting directly into the company Director, offering the opportunity to shape the delivery of sustainable water solutions for public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and network projects.
Manage multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
Provide technical guidance, review, and quality assurance for project outputs.
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance and coordination.
Contribute to the preparation of proposals, tenders, and fee estimates.
Mentor and develop junior team members to support succession planning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
Degree-qualified in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, or equivalent, or working towards chartership.
6+ years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design and project delivery.
Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex engineering projects.
Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, pumping, and pipeline systems.
Familiarity with Irish Water standards, planning, and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
