Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer - Water to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide supervision and management on a programme of work to deliver new and upgrade water network improvements in their assigned region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with contractors to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with the contract and legislation.
* Liaising with local authorities to deliver projects.
* Conducting audits and managing health and safety issues.
* Processing work orders and service requests.
* Updating project trackers and reviewing and approving drawings.
* Working with designers and engineers to deliver projects.
* Managing complaints and providing feedback to stakeholders.
* Attending meetings and keeping records.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* At least 5 years' experience in onsite supervision, site engineering of civil engineering works, including water projects.
* A degree in a related discipline, such as civil engineering.
* Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations.
* A current and valid SafePass card is essential.
You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to act within a team at all times.
