We are looking for a
Graduate Engineer
with at least
1 year of experience in the road industry
to join a leading technical team in Ireland. This is a permanent, onsite role offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in chemical and materials engineering within a dynamic industrial environment. You will be part of a company that develops innovative road construction solutions and chemical products used in bitumen and pavement materials, with a strong focus on research, product development, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct chemical, bitumen, and emulsion testing to defined specifications.
* Record, analyse, and communicate test results to the Technical Manager and team.
* Support product development, R&D, and technical troubleshooting.
* Participate in the development of new test methods and lab practices.
* Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.
* Communicate to maintain inventory of small equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
* Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in the road industry.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Desirable: Laboratory experience, co-op/internship in industrial settings, knowledge of pavement materials and testing.
