Key Responsibilities
* To allay fears and guarantee informed consent, educate patients about urodynamic operations, including their goal, method, and possible risks or problems.
* Urodynamic supplies and equipment should be prepared and maintained to guarantee correct operation and compliance with infection control guidelines.
* During urodynamic testing procedures, support and help the consultant urologist or urogynecologist as needed.
* Throughout urodynamic testing, keep an eye on patients, looking for any indications of discomfort or negative reactions, and acting quickly to protect their comfort and safety.
* Accurately record and interpret the results of urodynamic tests, reporting the findings to the medical staff and recording the findings in patient records.
* To organize patient care and maximize treatment results, work together with other members of the multidisciplinary team, such as doctors, nurses, and allied health specialists.
Requirements
* NMBI registration
* Proven dedication to patient safety and quality
* Prior acute gynaecological nursing experience is preferred.
* Advanced urodynamics training and experience, or a readiness to
* Three years or more of clinical experience after registration
* Outstanding understanding of modern nursing techniques and abilities
* Having outstanding organizational abilities and the capacity to make judgments
