Project Planner
Leap29 is seeking an experienced planner to lead renewable energy projects, including solar and wind initiatives, across Ireland. The role will be based in the Cork region and involve collaboration with government agencies such as An Bord Pleanála for planning permissions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate project timelines and schedules to ensure efficient delivery.
* Planning Applications: Prepare and submit applications for planning permissions to relevant authorities.
* Site Visits: Conduct site assessments and inspections to identify potential issues and risks.
* Planning Law: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing planning and development.
* EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment): Conduct thorough assessments of environmental implications and develop strategies to mitigate any negative effects.
* Programme Management: Utilize tools such as P6 and MS Project to manage project schedules and resources.
* Project Development Support: Provide support to business development teams through tendering and networking opportunities.
* Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential issues and risks at the earliest opportunity and develop strategies to resolve or escalate them as necessary.
* Liaison with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality), to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
* Schedule Management: Develop and manage schedules of workload, equipment, and resources to optimize project delivery.
Requirements:
* Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as Project Planning, Town Planning, or Scheduling.
* Previous experience working on solar and wind energy planning processes in Ireland.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts and willingness to travel when required.
