The Role

We are seeking applications for the position of Aircraft Engineer based at Head Office, Hangar 5, Dublin Airport. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires flexibility to work at various locations and travel at short notice.

* Ensure all scheduled line maintenance as instructed by supervisors or the Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE) work scope is completed.
* Meet operators' flights and ensure work orders are dealt with in a timely manner.
* Certify only work for which you hold a current PAC authorisation.
* Verify that all spares received for installation on an aircraft meet eligibility criteria and are compliant with attached paperwork.
* Order spares for all open HILS using AMOS.
* Maintain continuous liaison with the Shift Supervisor or ACE to minimize delays to the operating schedule.
* Complete all engineering documents and labels and inform the ACE of arising defects, especially recurrent ones.
* Review all relevant Notices.
* Complete all maintenance according to approved material.
* Familiarise yourself with manufacturer data.
* Wear required personal protective equipment and notify supervisor if it is unavailable or requires replacement.
* Comply with all warnings specified in maintenance manuals regarding health and safety matters.
* Ensure that any tooling required is correct PN and calibration is up-to-date. Inform supervisor of any out-of-calibration tooling.
* Consult the defects database to research recurring defects and avoid unnecessary component replacements.
* Keep working areas, break area and maintenance vehicles clean and tidy.
* Return all tooling to tool stores at the end of shift and update AMOS to reflect tool location.
* Ensure the tooling area is kept clean and repair or reorder any breakages as necessary.
* Secure and refuel all ground equipment prior to end of shift.
* Be aware of cold weather procedures and implement them when required.
* Be aware of local high winds procedures and put them in place when required.
* Inform the LMM if any engineer is not carrying out duties as requested by the Shift Supervisor or the ACE.
* Complete station delay reports within Event Tracking before the end of the day.
* Hold all company approvals required by the company.


About You

To be successful in this role, you must:

* Hold a valid EASA Part 66 B1.1 / B2 licence.
* Licence endorsed with ATR 72-212A (-600) Type rating - Additional Types are a plus.
* Demonstrate recency of 6 month's experience in the last two consecutive years on the ATR 72-212A - 600 aircraft.
* Be well organised with very good attention to detail.
* Be comfortable working to strict deadlines on multiple tasks and projects as part of a team.
* Take responsibility for tasks and see them through to fruition.
* Be a reliable, hardworking and honest individual committed to teamwork and excellence.
* Display flexibility and ability to think outside the box, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing solutions.
