* The role will be a full-time position, based in our hub nearest to your location with travel among the Midlands Laois, Offaly, Carlow, Westmeath and ad-hoc locations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the health and safety function of the business and team.
">
Responsibilities & Key Duties:
">
* Development, implementation and maintenance of a health and safety system.
* Update and develop safety statements, policies, risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Monitor and review houses/hubs performance through inspections and audits.
* Conduct regular safety walks and safety talks with each hub/house.
* Oversee fire safety measures, including equipment checks, fire drills, and evacuation procedures.
* Implement and monitor infection prevention and control practices across all locations.
* Collaborate with maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and meet regulatory standards.
* Support incident review processes and promote organisational learning from safety incidents.
* Assist and participate in the promotion of health-related risks and training on our sites.
* Ensure full implementation of the company's accident reporting procedure and ensure necessary corrective and preventative measures are implemented.
* Actively explore continuous improvements of the company's processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce wastage and maximise customer service and satisfaction.
* Ensure implications of changes in legislation and safety management techniques are communicated and implemented throughout the company.
* Liaise with enforcement authorities if they attend a site on routine visits or to investigate following an incident.
* Build and maintain effective key relationships with other departments and third parties.
* Ensure compliance with the company's digital and media policy and social media policy.
* Ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:
">
* Relevant health and safety degree.
* Three plus years of experience as a health and safety manager.
* Full clean driving licence is essential.
* Team player able to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally with clients.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
