TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the Public Sector to recruit a Temporary Grade III Clerical Officer to join their fast paced team. Location:Limerick Hours:9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday Pay: €16.87 - €26.25 depending on verified relevant public sector experience. Key Responsibilities: Creating purchase orders in SAP ERP system and the newly introduced IFMS SAP, ensuring they matched the specification, budget requirements, and in line with National Financial Regulation. Communicating through phone, email with other supplies officers in the warehouse, relevant service users in the hospitals to streamline the purchase order matching process, minimise errors, and ensuring payment aligns with goods received. Reviewing and processing supplier invoices, ensuring all entries matched purchase orders and receipts before I submit to business managers for authorising payments. Reconciling accounts payable statements and assisting in month-end closing activities, ensuring that all accounts were up to date and accurately reflected in the financial statements. Liaising with goods and service suppliers to ensure all queries regarding their accounts are closed out in a timely manner, mitigating supply chain risk, and enhancing relationship between suppliers, hospitals business managers, and end consumers. Providing cover during leave periods and any other appropriate duties as may be determined by the line manager. Over-seeing day to day office correspondence such as phone calls, emails, letters, and packages. Completing HSEs mandatory training online and on site. Embracing change and adapting local work practices accordingly Essential Requirements: Experience in SAP High level of accuracy in financial and procurement processes to ensure minimal errors in purchasing and invoice processing. Proven ability to match purchase orders to specifications, budget requirements, and National Financial Regulations. Experience in reviewing, processing, and reconciling supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods received, and assisting with month-end financial close activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with colleagues across departments and with external suppliers. Experience communicating effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve account queries and ensure smooth supply chain operations. Ability to manage office correspondence (calls, emails, letters, packages) efficiently and support administrative duties as required. Ability to provide cover for colleagues during leave periods and undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager. Skills: Grade III Clerical
