We are now inviting applications for the position of Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist
Post: Full-time, Permanent position.

Essential Eligibility Criteria:
* Possess the Certificate in Medical Physics & Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology in Kevin Street, or equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 12 months experience as a Cardiac Physiologist.
* Be enthusiastic, competent, hardworking and willing to develop new skills.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with management, consultants, staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.
Role Responsibilities of the post include, and are not limited to:
* Perform routine work to the highest standard, as determined
* Performing and analysing Electrocardiography (ECG) recordings
* Performing and analysing Holter monitoring studies and Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)
* Performing and analysing exercise stress testing
* Performing and analysing echocardiography and associated cardiac studies, appropriate to level of training
* Performing haemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures
* Performing and analysing aspects of cardiac rhythm device management, including implant support, routine follow-up, and basic programming under supervision
Additional Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
* Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
* Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and professional standards
* Participate in training, supervision, and continuous professional development
* Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary cardiac team line with departmental and hospital policies and clinical governance requirements
