Contributing as a team player, the right person will continuously improve the event and conferencing service.

Your main duties will include: Dealing with incoming telephone calls for reservations enquiries Receives the booking from client and proactively plans their event with them Responding to all conference and events enquires in a timely and accurate manner Actively sells the image and all services of the hotel by devising attractive ways to attract business to the hotel and increase profits Contacts potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings Collaborates and liaises efficiently with key internal staff (Operations Manager, Duty Managers, Head Chef, Restaurant team and Porters) in advance to ensure clients needs are met and understood Who we are looking for A candidate with: Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong knowledge of Property Management System preferred; however training will be provided Strong customer service ethos and background A can-do attitude and the ability to work well in team Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and other computer softwares Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task Experience working in reservations/events role The ability to manage their own time About the Sandymount Hotel Sandymount Hotel is a 4-star, award-winning hotel based in the residential suburb of Sandymount, Dublin 4.
