About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Trainee Cabinet Makers, Kitchen Fitters, and Assemblers to join our team specializing in designer kitchens and bedrooms in Dundalk, Co. Louth. This is a hands-on, full-time position ideal for individuals with a genuine interest in carpentry and a desire to build a rewarding career in kitchen manufacturing and installation. Full training will be provided in all aspects of the trade, making this an excellent opportunity for those eager to learn and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the assembly, installation, and fitting of bespoke kitchens and bedroom furniture to the highest standards
* Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements
* Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively (training provided)
* Support experienced cabinet makers and fitters on-site and in the workshop
* Handle, move, and install cabinetry and components with care and attention to detail
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times
* Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new tasks as required
Requirements
* Genuine interest in carpentry, woodworking, or furniture making
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills; full training provided
* Experience with power tools is preferred but not essential
* Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
* Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual tasks and stand for extended periods
* Basic numeracy and measurement skills
* Previous experience in a similar environment is an advantage but not required
