We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with monthly and year-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments. Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, including client accounts, will also be a key aspect of the role. Additionally, they will maintain the fixed asset register and assist with management accounts, process AP/AR transactions, and maintain accurate ledgers. Furthermore, they will prepare/update cash flow schedules and support VAT/PAYE filings, as well as assist with payroll and audit preparation.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 1–3 years' experience in a finance/accounting support role is required.
* Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills are essential.
* Experience with Sage Intacct or similar systems is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access is necessary.
* Excellent time management and communication skills are required.
