Clinical Nurse Manager Intensive Care Unit 2 (CNM2) Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 in our Intensive Care Unit will demonstrate exceptional managerial and leadership skills, fostering effective communication with colleagues throughout the hospital. This strategic role requires a continuous approach to quality improvement, ensuring the efficient management of changes necessary to achieve organisational objectives.

Requirements:
* At least five years of recent relevant post-registration nursing experience (full-time or equivalent hours part-time) in an acute hospital setting and a minimum of three years nursing experience in Intensive Care nursing
* Minimum of three years ICU management experience
* Hold an up-to-date Advanced Cardiac Life Support course or be in pursuit of same
* Well-developed leadership, interpersonal, and organisational skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Possess excellent patient care standards
* Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities
* Able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications:
* Ideal candidate would have a Health Care Management qualification preferably at third level
* Recognised post-registration nursing course - Higher Diploma or Post Grad course, in Intensive Care nursing or equivalent, or be in pursuit of same, or have an interest in completing one
