This senior leadership position oversees all site and engineering competency activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in pioneering innovative engineering practices, ensuring process and manufacturing excellence, leadership and mentoring. A critical aspect of this role is developing and delivering a medium to long-term engineering strategy for the site, encompassing capacity creation, systems and technology roadmaps to propel business growth and meet customer needs.

Main Responsibilities
1. Lead one or multiple high-performing teams, providing technical guidance and direction to operational and functional areas on-site, fostering a proactive culture of continuous improvement, lean innovation, process excellence, and problem-solving.
2. Develop a detailed strategy for engineering competency and framework for the Bone and Soft Tissue Cutting Business. Ensure the engineering organizational structure is fit for purpose and implement changes using effective change management approaches.
3. Provide technical collaboration and engineering alignment in maintaining manufacturing applications and automation systems. Work with global enterprise applications and infrastructure teams to ensure successful implementation of user/business-appropriate manufacturing systems.
4. Develop innovative solutions to complex business, applications, and technology challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Solutions may necessitate regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
5. Champion a positive employee environment by promoting open communication, engagement, and development of technical teams. Promote a culture of inclusiveness, trust, flexibility, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Engineering, Science, or Business or equivalent field, with a minimum of 6+ years' experience and a proven track record of successfully creating and managing highly talented, engaged, and performing teams. Experience in multiple areas/sites/positions is advantageous. Demonstrated ability towards factory of the future, automation, software applications, and systems to enable technology and business growth is essential.

A recognized qualification in Lean Manufacturing is preferred, with proven experience practicing and delivering Lean. The candidate must be passionate about delivery, with a proven track record of delivering results in a complex, dynamic, and results-driven environment. Demonstrated ability to make timely and sound decisions through effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions is crucial.
