Barden is engaged by a leading multinational business in Cork to identify a qualified Financial Accountant.
This key finance role within the company's SSC offers a chance to work as part of a large, highly professional team.
About the Role
* Responsible for General Ledger accounting for one or more entities;
* Reviews and posts month-end close and accounting transactions;
* Ensures compliance with U.S. and local GAAP;
* Develops strong relationships with global stakeholders;
* Liaises with internal and external auditors, providing timely and accurate information and data;
* Evaluates processes and recommends improvements;
* Supports Statutory Accounting Activities for one or more entities.
About You
* A Qualified Accountant with industry experience an advantage;
* Strong technical skills are essential;
* Experience working in a Shared Service Centre beneficial but not required;
* US GAAP and SAP knowledge desirable;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across multiple functions and cultures;
* An effective team player with leadership and negotiation skills.
