Activ8 Solar Energies are actively seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career with strong design fundamentals, a passion for visual storytelling and the ambition to grow within one of Ireland's leading renewable energy brands. You will support the creation of high‑quality digital and print assets across campaigns, social media, sales materials, presentations, events and internal initiatives.

The Opportunity:
As a Junior Graphic Designer you will work creatively to ensure that the Activ8 brand is working according to best practice to cement its position as leader in the Solar PV marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create visual assets for print, digital, social and presentations while maintaining Activ8 brand standards.
* Design brochures, flyers, posters, social graphics and internal collateral.
* Prepare print‑ready artwork including bleeds, trims and correct colour profiles.
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales and Commercial teams to deliver creative aligned to project goals.
* Support senior designers with layout work, image editing and version control.
* Assist in producing content for paid and organic social campaigns.
* Keep design files organised and maintain an efficient asset library.
* Support photo/video shoots and adapt captured content into branded formats.
* Participate in reviews, take feedback constructively and iterate designs to completion.
Requirements:
* A portfolio demonstrating design capability (college or personal projects welcome).
* Qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia or similar.
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
Understanding of typography, colour, layout and visual hierarchy.
* Basic knowledge of UI/UX or web layout principles.
* Ability to take direction, interpret briefs and work collaboratively.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadly.
* Must live within a commutable distance to Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
