Job Title:
This role is part of the Education Services team. The team works to provide services to Traveller families, young people and children, as well as men and women, many of whom are in crisis.
We offer a range of services including Family Support and Crisis Intervention, Children and Young Peoples' Services, Addiction Services, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Services, and Education and Training Services. Our goal is to provide these services to members of the Traveller community in the Dublin area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing, coordinating and implementing a City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB) Local Training Initiative (LTI)
* Recruit learners to the LTI
* Coordinate activities and modules related to the LTI
* Deliver and evaluate modules for the LTI
* Provide ongoing support to learners
* Accreditate LTI modules where appropriate
* Supervise tutors with the manager and coordinator
* Evaluate learner progress through regular group and individual evaluations
* Facilitate progression of learners
* Monitor and evaluate the programme
* Maintain project records and assist in programme development and applications
* Plan future programmes
* Assist in monthly reports
* Coordinate CDETB Learner registration and terminations
* Comply with CDETB Training Standards System
* Apply for funding to relevant agencies
* Represent on relevant committees
Person Specification:
* A qualification and experience in-line with the ETB's Trainer Criteria (TQAS-8b-F17)
* Experience of delivering QQI Level 4 programmes
* An awareness of the issues facing the Traveller community
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Coordinational and administrative skills
* IT skills
* Ability to work independently
