Role Overview


As a Clarity Administrator Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the ongoing management, maintenance, and administration of the Clarity system, ensuring optimal performance and availability to support business operations. This role involves technical support and troubleshooting, system configuration, user support, upgrades, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Team Background



• This role sits within our Business Applications team and reports to the Business Applications Manager.

• The Business Applications team is responsible for providing IT services and solutions to both shared and corporate functions, directly supporting end customers within our global business entities.

• The team interacts extensively with global business entities and corporate technology teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our systems.

• Our solutions encompass a wide range of technologies, including on-premises business applications, SaaS solutions, IT tools, bespoke application development, data platforms, integrations, and automation of business and IT processes.

• By collaborating closely with various stakeholders, the team ensures that our technology solutions meet the diverse needs of our global operations, driving efficiency and innovation across the organisation.


What you'll help us achieve


As Clarity Administrator Systems Analyst this role will involve:

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in business processes and implement effective solutions to achieve significant improvements.

• System Management:
o Administer, configure, and maintain the Clarity system
o Assist with regular system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
o Maintain and monitor integrations with other systems (e.g., SAP, Success Factors, JIRA).

• User Support:
o Provide end-user advanced business and technical support, including troubleshooting system issues, answering queries and documenting a knowledge base
o Handle user access management, including creating user accounts, managing permissions, and ensuring data security.

• System Configuration:
o Manage system configurations to meet the organization's operational needs.
o Customize dashboards, reports, and workflows within the Clarity system as required by business needs.
o Create and manage queries, data extracts, and reporting tools.

• Data Management & Reporting:
o Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the system.
o Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and performance tracking.
o Monitor data integrity and manage data migrations, as required.


More specific responsibilities will include



• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Collaborate with IT, project management teams, and relevant departments to ensure the system aligns with business needs.
o Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure system support and upgrades are executed properly.
o Documentation & Compliance:
o Compile materials and/or presentations needed for regular/recurring meetings and calls
o Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration settings, workflows, and user manuals.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and data security standards.
o Assist with audits and ensure that the system follows established industry standards and best practices.


What you will need to be successful in the role



• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an equivalent role

• Good exposure in the application and support of the Clarity PPM tool is highly desirable

• Good knowledge and experience of industry standard best practice Portfolio and Programme Management is desirable

• Experience of project, programme, and portfolio reporting and change delivery governance frameworks is desirable

• Strong data analysis skills with experience using data visualisation tools like PowerBI to create dashboards that support data-driven decision making

• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

• Excellent communicator with strong networking skills with ability to influence and persuade and drive standards across multiple Project Management Office teams
