Strategic Policy Manager
We are seeking a Strategic Policy Manager to lead the development and delivery of policy activities for the Patient and Client Council (PCC) in relation to Public Inquiries.
This role requires a strong understanding of policy development and implementation, with experience working in the health service or public sector environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, influencing and relationship management skills, and the ability to work on own initiative and coordinate policy activity within agreed objectives and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse submissions to Public Inquiries and reviews to identify any learning for PCC and the wider HSC system.
* Manage the delivery of the PCC work plan for Associates supporting PCC work on Public Inquiries.
* Keep abreast of all developments and updates arising from Public Inquiries and advise Senior Policy Impact and Influence Manager of any implications for PCC.
* Provide regular briefings to Executive Management Team and PCC Council on any updates regarding Public Inquiries.
* Lead the production of high-quality written policy recommendations, briefings, publications, consultation responses, presentations, and other materials that communicate complex messages clearly and effectively to a range of audiences.
