A reputable organisation based in Dublin 4 is seeking a confident, calm, and organised Finance Administrator / Receptionist to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This varied role combines front-of-house reception duties with essential administrative and finance support, perfect for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception & Front of House
* Serve as the professional and welcoming first point of contact for visitors
* Manage incoming calls and general enquiries calmly and efficiently
* Sign for courier deliveries and promptly notify internal teams
* Maintain a tidy and organised reception area
General Administration & Support
* Handle ad hoc queries from internal teams and external contacts with confidence
* Provide broad administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and data management
* Assist with finance and payroll administrative tasks as required
* Contribute positively to wider organisational activities
Finance & Payroll Administration (Supporting Role)
* Input financial transactions and records into Sage accounting software
* Assist with daily lodgements, visa payments, and bank reconciliations
* Support weekly payroll processing using Sage Micropay and maintain payroll records
* Generate invoices and assist with financial reporting when needed
Person Specification:
* Confident and calm under pressure with the ability to multitask effectively
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills
* Friendly, approachable, and professional with outstanding customer service abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with Sage accounting and payroll software advantageous but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Additional Software Skills:
* Sage Payroll and accounting
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Sun Purchasing System for raising Purchase Orders (POs)
