We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Healthcare Assistant for an elderly client with Parkinson's Disease. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life.
The primary responsibilities will include providing high-quality care, support, and companionship to our client on weekends from Friday to Monday. Accommodation will be provided during these periods. The successful candidate may also be required to travel occasionally with the family.
* Essential qualifications include QQI/Fetac level 5 Healthcare Assistant qualification
* A minimum of two years' experience working as a Healthcare Assistant is necessary for this position
* Previous experience caring for individuals with Parkinson's Disease is highly desirable but not essential
* Flexibility regarding weekend hours and overnight stays is crucial for success in this role
* Must have pets-friendly attitude as animals are present on site (cats and dogs)
