Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Lead system implementation and integration of the HRIS across the EU footprint.
Serve as the technical lead and business partner throughout HRIS implementation projects.
Represent HR, information services, external vendors, and stakeholders in HRIS design and implementation.
Identify risks, concerns and ambiguities during requirements gathering and assist in solution development.
Document requirements, plan, coordinate, and support user acceptance testing and deployments.
Provide end-user and application support, including problem resolution and training.
Support HRIS integration with other UPMC applications such as Payroll and Time & Attendance.
Maintain the HRIS configuration, development, upgrades, permissions, and system operations.
Document changes, test plans, release notes and training materials through the change control process.
Prioritize application requests with stakeholders and manage the application pipeline.
Implement rigorous upgrade and patch processes, including functional, unit and end-user testing.
Develop and manage Disaster Recovery solutions in alignment with Business Continuity Plans.
Manage vendor relationships, oversee issue escalations, monitor performance, and deliver root-cause analysis.
Design workflows that reflect HR operations and provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users.
Collaborate with leadership to identify system improvements and implement enhancements.
Drive change management by communicating updates and delivering regular training.
Perform additional duties and management responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Seven years of related experience, including at least three years in a senior or lead role, or equivalent education/experience.
Degree or certification in information technology, software life-cycle management, or extensive training in enterprise application support.
Five years of experience implementing, supporting, or training on enterprise applications (e.g., EMR, HRMS, Patient Administration).
Familiarity with human-resource policies and procedures to align the HRIS with organizational needs.
Experience administering Cornerstone HCM Cloud or similar HR systems.
Knowledge of configuration, security administration, reporting, workflow, and data integration preferred.
Knowledge of GDPR, HR system implementation, and European HR system support required.
Availability for off-hour support as needed.
Travel to UPMC sites may be required.
Salary
€65,000 – €75,000 per annum, based on a 39-hour week.
