Bridge Design Engineer

ATG are seeking a talented Bridge Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary consultancy in Dublin.
The role involves designing, analysing, and delivering safe and efficient bridge structures for a variety of infrastructure projects, working collaboratively across engineering teams and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyse bridges and associated structures using appropriate codes and software.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on civil, structural, and transportation projects.
Support project delivery from concept through construction, ensuring quality, cost, and programme compliance.
Provide technical input for tender documents, feasibility studies, and design reviews.
Keep up-to-date with best practice, standards, and innovations in bridge engineering.
Skills & Experience
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered or working towards chartered status (IEI/Civil or Structural).
Experience in bridge design and analysis, preferably within a consultancy environment.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, LUSAS, MIDAS).
Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
