Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to hotel standards.
* Provide friendly, professional, and proactive service to guests and colleagues.
* Support menu planning and contribute creative food ideas.
* Maintain full knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
* Follow hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operating procedures.
* Ensure proper rotation and storage of products to minimize waste.
* Keep all work areas, utensils, and equipment clean and well-maintained.
* Assist senior chefs in food preparation, cooking, and plating.
* Handle guest feedback and ensure a positive dining experience.
* Complete any reasonable duties assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Requirements:
* 1-2+ years' experience in a similar role.
* HACCP certified and knowledgeable in food safety.
* Culinary qualification preferred.
* Ability to work flexible part-time hours including evenings and weekends.
* A positive, team-player attitude with excellent attention to detail.
* Must be available for immediate start.
