Innovation is at the core of our company, and we are proud of our industry-leading quality, lean manufacturing, and focus on innovation in products and processing technologies.Some of your BenefitsCompany Pension: Save for retirement with the company's help.Flexible Work Models: We allow for flexible work models to ensure both professional and personal success.Health Insurance: Rely on comprehensive services whenever you need it.Diversity & Inclusion: We focus on providing an inclusive environment and recognize our diversity contributes to our success.Personal Development: We offer a variety of trainings to ensure you can develop in your career.You will support our team as Manufacturing Engineer IResponsibilitiesGet hands-on in solving real manufacturing challenges — using structured problem-solving tools and working with experienced engineers to implement lasting solutions.Contribute to continuous improvement projects by learning and applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Support quality and compliance activities in a regulated manufacturing environment, gaining experience with key systems like GMP, NCR, and CAPA.Help improve production flow by creating and updating standardised work instructions, and ensuring inspection and product requirements are clearly met.Assist in validation activities for new equipment and processes — learning how to plan, document, and execute successful validations.Work with data to identify trends and improvement opportunities using OEE metrics like yield, uptime, and performance.Get involved in designing simple tools, jigs, or fixtures that support the production team and improve day-to-day operations.Collaborate with EHS and other teams to assess new equipment or materials and ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.QualificationsA degree (NFQ Level 8) in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engineering.1-2 years of relevant industry experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.Exposure to validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, TMVs) and an understanding of related regulatory requirements and data analysis tools.A proactive, results-driven mindset with a flexible and motivated approach to learning and problem-solving.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and contribute to a collaborative work environment.Experience supporting or managing technical projects, with some familiarity with project management principles (e.g., PMBOK).A team player who actively promotes cross-functional collaboration and is open to mentoring and supporting others.Experience or interest in areas such as problem solving, process improvement, data analysis, and lean manufacturing - highly desirable.Project Management and/or Six Sigma qualifications would be a distinct advantage but are not essential.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
