Motor Mechanic Vacancy
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join our workshop in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.
The successful applicant will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
* Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
* Carry out engine repairs, timing belt replacements, clutch replacements, brake services, suspension repairs, exhaust system replacements, and general mechanical work.
* Conduct pre-NCT checks and prepare vehicles to meet NCT standards.
* Inspect vehicles for safety hazards and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
* Record all work performed and parts used accurately.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified Motor Mechanic (QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
* At least two years' experience post-qualification (flexible depending on skill level).
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with modern diagnostic equipment.
* Clean driving license.
* Professional attitude and strong communication skills.
