As a seasoned electrical project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in engineering and design will enable you to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
* Manage projects across the entire lifecycle, from initial planning to final handover.
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Review and approve electrical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
* Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teams to integrate designs and resolve technical challenges.
* Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to guarantee project deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize potential impacts.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols throughout project execution.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing their expectations.
* Process progress claims and invoicing according to contract obligations.
* Manage project variations and change orders effectively.
* Qualified Electrician or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within industrial, process, or manufacturing sectors.
* Strong background in electrical design, with knowledge of industry standards.
* Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder management.
* Familiarity with software tools such as AutoCAD, Amtech, or similar design platforms.
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
