Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Job Description
This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at an esteemed Older Persons Rehabilitation Hospital in Limerick.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans that focus on function, mobility, and independence.
A key aspect of this role will involve delivering evidence-based interventions addressing the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of patients. Collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team on patient progress, goal setting, and treatment review are also essential components of this position.
1. An assistive role in discharge planning including providing education on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Occupational Therapy - An essential requirement for this position.
Full Active CORU Registration - A prerequisite for practicing as an occupational therapist. Strong clinical reasoning - This skill is vital when assessing patients' abilities,
and devising appropriate care plans to meet their unique needs. Excellent communication skills- Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues
