Our client in Kildare is hiring an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to lead the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and Appropriate Assessment for Renewable Energy infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the EIA process, providing environmental expertise, keeping abreast of changes in planning and environmental legislation, and contributing to Company submissions.
Assisting the Stakeholder and Advocacy team with project plans, preparing specifications for third-party services, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental policies are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualifications: Hons Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent; Post Graduate qualification in a relevant discipline desirable but not essential.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in leading the preparation of EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale projects essential; Expertise in leading the delivery of EIS/EIAR and AA/NIS documentation is essential.
* Key Skills: Understanding of the EIA process, Irish planning policy, and legislation; Experience across a range of project types with differing priorities, risk profiles, and timelines desirable but not essential.
