We are seeking an approachable, proactive and professional HR Advisor to join our HR team and support managers and employees across the group.
This is a varied, hands-on HR role with a strong focus on employee relations and day to day people support. The successful candidate will work closely with managers across the business, providing practical guidance on employee matters, supporting positive workplace relationships, and helping ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building strong working relationships, has confidence supporting managers through HR processes, and takes a practical and solutions-focused approach to employee relations. Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & HR Support
Provide practical HR advice and support to managers on employee relations matters including:
disciplinary processes
grievance management
absence management
performance management
investigations
return to work processes
Support and coordinate investigations, hearings and employee meetings
Assist managers with performance improvement plans and employee development discussions
Support conflict resolution and help maintain positive working relationships across teams
Coordinate occupational health referrals and related follow-up actions
Contribute to employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation across all jurisdictions
Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
Support compliance activities relating to Irish employment law and wider UK/NI requirements
Assist with insurance claims, workplace incidents and HR reporting requirements
Support audits, reporting and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
Policy & Process Improvement
Assist with updating HR policies, procedures and employee handbook documentation
Assist with manager training and guidance on core people management practices
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in a HR Advisor or Employee Relations focused role
Proven experience handling employee relations casework
Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation essential
Experience supporting managers in a fast-paced operational environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong administrative and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in MS Office and HR systems
Desirable
Exposure to UK, NI or multi-jurisdiction HR environments
HR qualification or CIPD qualification desirable
