Reportingto:GeneralManager Purpose of job: To assist and support in all departments as directed by the management.Tocarryoutanyreasonablerequestbymanagementin deliveryofthehotelobligationsunderthetermsofthecontractwiththe client.
Key responsibilities: Toliaiseandcooperatewithmanagementdirectionasrequiredthroughoutthecourseof your shift.
Tocarryoutalldutiesinallhoteldepartmentsasdirectedunderthestandardoperating procedures guidelines and/or as requested by hotel management.
Toensureall Residentand/or NGOqueries arehandled promptlyandefficiently.
Toservicehotelbedrooms,corridors,publicareasandstairwellsasdirectedbyhotel management.
Asperrostering,presentingforreceptionshiftsif needed.
Toservebreakfast,lunch,dinnerandkeepcommonareascleanandtidyasrequested by hotel management and in line with shift pattern issued by hotel management Tobeawareof foodallergens asapplicableforresidents meals.
Shiftpatternwillbebasedon5daysover7,withamixtureofearly/late &weekends,as per the demands of the business.
ToanticipateResidentneedswheneverpossibletoenhancequalityserviceandinturn ensure comfort of the Residents.
Toreportall Residentfeedbackto thehotel management Touseinitiativeinrelation tospeedyresolutionorResident queries.
Quality: Toassistinmaintainingthehotelqualitysystem,toensurewealwaysoffer residents consistently high standards of quality throughout the hotel.
ToensureTravelodgestandards areachievedatall times.
Toassistinachievingperiodictargets andgoals setoutby management.
Toensurealldepartmentalchecklistsarecompletedandcheckedbyasupervisorbefore going off duty.
ToensureHACCPandHealthand Safetyisadheredtoatall times.
To ensure Manual handling, fire, chemical and all other training is always adhered to in full.

Flexibility: Toacceptflexibleworkscheduleincludingbutnotlimitedtomornings,evenings inline with the business demands, on a 5 over 7 day shift pattern including weekends.
Tobeflexibleintermofthedepartmentandtasksyouarerequestedtoperformacrossthe hotel operation.
Health&Safetyresponsibilities: Toensureallaccidentsandincidentsarereportedtotherelevantpeopleassoonapossible following the accident/incident or before the end of your shift at the latest and to assist in providing all relevant backup.
Tomaintainownworkarea,ResidentareaandareasvisibletoResidentsinaclean, professional and tidy state.
To meet all requirements laid out in the hotel health and safety policy including the property safety walks, attendance at safety briefings, H&S training etc.
Communication: Toattendteam,departmentandstaffmeetingsasrequired.
Tokeepagood lineofcommunication withcolleagues& Managers.
