Practice Accountant – Dublin (Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified)
Our client, a leading Dublin-based accounting practice, is seeking a
Practice Accountant
to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a
Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA)
with strong
practice accounting experience
, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare
statutory accounts
, management accounts and financial statements
* Complete
Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE/PRSI, P35
and Construction Industry Scheme returns
* Perform
bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations
* Prepare schedules for
sales, purchases, cash receipts and payments
* Support
audit processes
, including transaction testing and debtor circularisation
* Manage
payroll processing
for clients using
Sage
* Maintain compliance with Irish accounting and tax regulations
* Use
Relate Accounts Production
,
Sage
and
Excel
for accounts preparation and reporting
* Assist with
company secretarial
tasks and general practice administration
* Attend
stock takes
and support clients with ad hoc financial queries
Requirements
* Part-qualified or fully qualified
ACA / ACCA / CPA
* Minimum 1–3 years
practice experience

* Strong knowledge of
statutory accounts

* High proficiency in
Excel

Sage
, and accounting software
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
