Offaly.Key RequirementsLevel 8 degree in Computer Aided Design, Industrial Design, or a related engineering disciplineIdeally 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAdvanced proficiency in SolidWorks modelling (Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) preferred – skills testing will form part of the interview process)Strong problem‑solving and analytical skillsExperience in composite RTM manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication is a distinct advantage, but not essentialProficiency in Product Data Management (PDM) systemsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with SolidWorks Visualize or similar photorealistic rendering softwareKey ResponsibilitiesDesign & InnovationDesign and develop user‑centric products to enhance functionality and user experienceExplore emerging trends and technologies, supporting R&D initiatives and ongoing projectsDevelop new access solutions using SolidWorksDesign mould tools, sheet metal components, and other manufacturing aidsProject CollaborationProvide CAD support to the wider engineering teamCollaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials, costings, and product data within the ERP systemMaintain ownership of the product database, including version control and revision management using PDMFlexibility & DeliveryWork across multiple projects from concept through to productionSupport additional design and engineering projects as requiredThis is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically strong Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the design and development of innovative, user‑focused products while working closely with engineering, R&D, and production teams.
