There is a strong need in the role to understand FMCG Marketing and campaign execution.You will be responsible for the development of our client's marketing/communications strategy which support brand marketing and communication initiatives at a B2B and B2C level.You will also own event management and communications for their Sustainability, CSR and partnership initiatives. You will be a key member of the marketing team and will be expected to deliver a wide variety of initiatives focused on brand development, increasing customer satisfaction, profitability and sales.The right person for this job will have a strong understanding of the full marketing mix and a thorough understanding of our business and local marketing to ensure maximisation of campaigns and internal communications activities.Key Responsibilities1. Communications- Planning and executing a communications plan supporting the ‘famous for’ categories that deliver on agreed targets and budget.- Planning and executing a communications plan to support sustainability, CSR and partnerships initiatives- This includes corporate communications, profiling, consumer PR activations and internal communications.- Liaising with relevant internal teams regularly to ensure these campaigns are working to achieve the business targets- Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to create, maintain and implement calendar of activity supporting the Marketing strategy- Work with Digital Senior Specialist / external agency on digital activity to support communications strategy.- Completing detailed analysis of the return on investment on communications plan.- Project Management for key strategic projects as well as tactical assignments as key marketing resource- Monitor performance, analyse KPIs and report on same to all key stakeholders2. Partnerships- Responsible for calendar of activities supporting their partnership initiatives, including their CSR partner and potential sports / lifestyle partnership.- Be the key point of contact for partners.- Brief and update and coordinate the business on any activities required internally to support partnership activities3. Sustainability- This person will be the sustainability lead within the marketing department- Responsible for influencing external/internal perceptions of sustainability presence based on current initiatives and ambitious future plans.4. Events- Responsible for all events – inclusive of internal virtual and in-person events, and store events (e.g. store openings) with close management of 3rd party agencies on execution of same.5. Costs- Implement appropriate cost control plans within the budget and business plan with the approval of the Senior Marketing Manager.6.
