Project Cost Manager
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil contractor projects to join our commercial team. As Project Cost Manager, you will be responsible for the financial management of multiple projects.
You will oversee project procurement, including tender queries and preparation of tender reports, to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly project payment applications and cost reports, monitoring project costs, and agreeing on variations with the design team.
Additionally, you will provide regular updates to senior management on project financial performance.
Requirements:
Degree level in Quantity Surveying or related field.
4+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civils projects, preferably with main contractors.
Chartered status or working towards chartership is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and IT skills are essential.
