GalwayShift Pattern: Monday to FridayWorking Hours: 1:00pm - 9:00pmBreaks: 36-minute break per shiftContracted Hours: 37 hours per week (hours may vary in line with business needs and the completion of required production jobs)Contract Type: Full-timeRole Purpose:Lead and supervise the evening cooked meats operation to deliver daily production targets safely, efficiently, and to spec.Support our 2026 strategy by driving consistency and performance across cooked meats products only.Key Responsibilities:Supervise evening operations across cooked meats lines (cook, chill, slice, pack).Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve shift KPIs.Ensure correct staffing and line set-up to meet evening schedules.Run shift start-ups, toolbox talks, and end-of-shift handovers.Monitor output, yields, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency.Troubleshoot issues in real time and escalate when needed.Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, BRC, traceability, and site procedures.Verify cook/chill controls, allergen management, hygiene, and paperwork accuracy.Work closely with QA and Maintenance to resolve quality or equipment issues.Promote and enforce strong Health & Safety standards at all times.Drive continuous improvement on evening shift (waste reduction, line flow, housekeeping).A Note on the Road Ahead (2026):2026 is a key year for Divilly's as we sharpen our focus on cooked meats-simplifying what we do, raising consistency, and scaling the products our customers value most.This role is central to that plan: owning evening performance, tightening standards from cook to pack, and helping build a factory culture of accountability, pace, and pride in quality.If you want to be part of a clear, practical growth plan-and lead a team that delivers it every day-this is a strong opportunity to make your mark.What We Offer:Evening supervisor rate.Management Pension employer contribution.Stable Mon-Fri evening shift.Training in Lean Sigma / continuous improvement tools.Training on machinery and line applications across cooked meats production.Ongoing development in cooked meats standards, food safety, and leadership.Opportunity to grow with the business as cooked meats becomes our main focus in 2026.Salary/Performance review after 12 months.
