Product Development Specialist
Key Responsibilities
* Develop innovative product formulations that meet industry and ISO standards.
* Enhance existing formulations through thorough research, testing, recording, and reporting.
* Drive laboratory advancements and analytical capabilities to support the development of new products.
* Promote and implement sustainability initiatives within product formulations to minimize environmental impact.
* Participate in the entire product lifecycle from development to customer trials and quality assurance.
* Collaborate with customers during tender stages as required to ensure mutual understanding and successful project execution.
* Maintain adherence to the central lab quality management system and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to the development of laboratory procedures and SOPs for external audits and continuous improvement.
* Assist in developing a new R&D database to enhance knowledge sharing and innovation.
* Identify and propose improvements for continuous process enhancements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
* Support laboratory functions within QC, Bacteriological, and Chemical labs to ensure accurate record-keeping and high housekeeping standards.
* Comply with safety and regulatory requirements on site to ensure a safe working environment.
