UAS Pilot
We are seeking an experienced and motivated UAS Pilot to join our flight operations team here at A-techSYN.

A-techSYN Ltd (Advanced Technologies with Synergy) is an all-in-one solution provider for Unmanned Aviation Systems (UAS) based in Shannon, Ireland. A-techSYNs' products consist of proprietary UAS solutions including field proven LALE Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) fixed wing UAVs and mid to high-speed Target Drones.
A-techSYN not only develops and manufactures UAS, Autopilot and key electronic components, but also trains operators and mechanics, provides MRO and even flight services to customers.
Internally developed IP, Easy and quick integration of new equipment to the platforms, integration of systems with existing infrastructure, customization of the UAS products to customer requirements and low cost of ownership are some of the key differentiators of A-techSYN as an independent and highly flexible Company.
A-techSYN's flagship is a leading VTOL UAV – the CGT50- with superior and bespoke underlying technology. The product is in the LALE segment and has high payload capacity (5Kg) and long endurance (6 hours). The Systems are well known for the low cost of ownership powered by the high rate (%80) of in-House IP.
The Role: UAS PIlot
Responsibilities:
* Safety, Experience and Flexibility are key to A-techSYN's success.
* Assumes responsibility for the safe conduct of flights as the pilot or supervisor.
* Assures flights are executed safely according to aviation regulations and to best serve the needs of our customers.
* Making pre-flight checks.
* Making post-flight checks and completing all applicable documentation.
* Assists in the development of departmental policies and procedures.
* Keeps informed of the latest developments within the UAS community.
Required Skills:
* 1) EASA Open Category A1, A2, A3 training and assessment conducted by IAA
* 2) EASA recognised Specific Category (STS) training by a nationally recognised provider as required for Specific Category operations.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience of Crew Resource Management and Human Factor training.
* Experience in small airfield operations e.g.: circuit patterns, terminology, communications.
* Knowledge of UAS contingency and emergency procedures.
* Basic meteorology and understanding of the weather considering limitations for safe UAS operation.
* UAS Emergency Response Plan training
* UAS simulator experience in learning and practicing the use of checklists for normal, contingency and emergency flight procedures.
* Experience in normal, contingency and emergency procedures, whilst acting in various operational roles such as Supervisor, Remote Pilot or Technician.
* A culture of continuous learning and development.
